Are these identities real?+
No. Every identity is randomly assembled from name pools, street templates and format validators. Generated people do not exist, addresses do not correspond to real buildings, and phone numbers follow valid format patterns but are not assigned.
Can I use a fake identity for signing up somewhere?+
No. These identities are for software testing, QA, UI mockups, demos and education. Using generated data to register on services, deceive people or commit fraud is illegal.
Why do national ID numbers pass checksum validation?+
We implement the real checksum algorithms (for example Luhn for Israeli Teudat Zehut, weighted mod-11 for Russian ИНН and Japanese My Number) so your validation logic can be tested properly. The numbers still belong to no real person.
